New Grand Tech (HK) Limited is a specialized manufacturing company with more than 20 years of industry experience, focusing on Flexible Flat Cable (FFC) production, FFC connector assembly, and automotive airbag components. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the company operates manufacturing facilities in Shenzhen, Jining, and Tianjin, with sales offices in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as a global sales network across Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe. With strong in-house R&D capabilities and advanced production systems, the company provides customized interconnect solutions and smart manufacturing equipment for a wide range of industries. It is certified under ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF 16949 standards, reflecting its commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. In addition to component manufacturing, it also provides integrated smart factory solutions ranging from standalone equipment to complete production line systems, supporting customers in achieving higher efficiency and manufacturing flexibility.
In full gear, GrandCape’s production lines are now ready based in the Cape EMS Senai facility in Johor Bahru, serving as the heartbeat of the venture. This early operational success bridges the gap between local production and global ambition, significantly focusing on FFC, advanced interconnect solutions, Artificial Intelligence Data Centre connectivity, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications, while supporting connectivity requirements across electric vehicle mobility.

Cape EMS Bhd has entered into a strategic collaboration with Australia-based Engytech Engineering Services to establish a premier Digital Infrastructure Services and Support platform in Malaysia. This partnership is designed to fortify the nation’s capacity to support the rapidly accelerating data centre sector by integrating Engytech’s specialized engineering and system integration expertise with Cape EMS’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and local execution strength. Together, the companies will provide comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for data centres and other mission-critical infrastructure.
A central pillar of this partnership is the planned establishment of a Data Centre Academy in Malaysia. This academy will offer practical, hands-on training in essential areas like power and cooling systems, energy efficiency, and network operations. Our goal is to give local workers the specific skills they need to succeed in the data centre industry.
This initiative ensures that participants are equipped with the job-ready skills necessary for mission-critical environments, providing a sustainable talent pipeline for the nation.

Vectrix Mobility Pte Ltd based in Singapore, is a joint venture company by Cape EMS Berhad (60%) and Vectrix Advance Technology Pte Ltd (40%). This is spearheaded by two visionary female entrepreneurs, top of their field, with similar strategic masterminds with an eye for market trends, come together to launch this business.
Cape EMS under the leadership of Ms Christina Tee, who has over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, and Ms Rinda Komasato, a veteran in the motorcycle industry for over 40 years, join forces to share insights and tap on each other expertise to form a strong collaboration to penetrate the market of Electric Vehicle Motorcycle which is predominantly male players throughout many years.
VECTRIX aims to lead the electric revolution by providing clean, efficient, and reliable urban transportation and achieving carbon neutrality in each local community. Vectrix is renowned for its relentless pursuit of technological advancement and excellence. Vectrix has several Intellectual Properties under its belt which include a regenerative braking system for EV, vehicle with Lockable Tilt System application to name a few.
Vectrix combines groundbreaking research with practical application to deliver solutions that push boundaries and enhance lives. In 2023, Vectrix introduced a never-before-seen player to the game: The ultra-compact commercial EV - saviour of the last mile --- iCargo.
iCargo has successfully launched in Japan in October 2023. Vectrix Mobility's Japan Distributor, VECTRIX JAPAN signs a collaboration agreement with Tokio Marine & Nichido. Started consideration of building a user support system for four-wheel standards and strategic collaboration for long-term coexistence in development, production, and sales. Besides Japan, Vectrix Mobility too, has successfully sign distributor agreement with Singapore and Malaysia. Currently, Vectrix Mobility is in the midst of discussion for distributorship for Italy, Thailand, Korea, and Qatar. Vectrix Mobility will be the trading entity to explore and engage with distributorship globally.
