Located in Senai, Johor, GrandCape is fully production-ready with five Flexible Flat Cable (FFC) manufacturing lines in operation. The facility is positioned to serve a broad range of high-growth applications, including AI data centres, electric vehicles (EVs), battery energy storage systems (BESS), industrial automation, and advanced electronics. 

The venture represents CAPE EMS’s strategic expansion beyond traditional EMS assembly into high-value interconnect solutions, encompassing Flexible Flat Cables (FFCs), automotive airbag cables, clock spring assemblies, and wire harnesses. These critical components play an increasingly important role as modern electronic systems become more compact, sophisticated, and performance driven. 

Aligned with the Group’s CEB 2.0 strategic roadmap, GrandCape enhances CAPE EMS’s technological capabilities, broadens its manufacturing portfolio, and reinforces Malaysia’s position as a competitive hub for advanced interconnect manufacturing within the Asia-Pacific region.
