CAPE EMS Berhad’s energy optimization initiative has been recognized with the MAESCO Silver Award (Energy Efficiency Category), following the successful implementation of a comprehensive HVAC optimization project in 2024.
The Company engaged G-Energy Integrated Services Sdn Bhd to enhance the performance and efficiency of its HVAC system, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), pumps, and cooling towers. The project was undertaken with the objective of improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs across facilities. |
The initiative delivered significant results, achieving an estimated 64.7% overall improvement in energy efficiency and reducing approximately 2,800 tones of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions annually.
In recognition of these measurable outcomes, the project was submitted for the MAESCO Awards and subsequently received silver recognition. CAPE EMS was represented at the award presentation by Ms Ivy Tee, Executive Director, and Mr Jeff Cheah, Facility Manager.
