Cape EMS Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary Cape Renewables Sdn Bhd (CAPE RE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC) to jointly manufacture and supply electric vehicle (EV) charging and solar infrastructure.
As part of this strategic collaboration, CAPE RE will be responsible for the production and supply EV chargers, while EVC will manage the installation of charging stations and photovoltaic (PV) systems. The first phase of this initiative includes installations at the Vectrix Experience Centre in Senai to support the EV taxi project. The agreement is effective for two years, with the possibility of extension upon mutual consent.
This partnership reflects Cape EMS' vision of being at the forefront of sustainable solutions in electronics manufacturing and renewables energy. It also allows us to play an integral role in promoting cleaner transportation and advancing Malaysia's green energy transition and national EV adoption roadmap. |
