ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshoot unforeseen issues (e.g., material or machine issues) on mass production lines, specifically for Flexi project.
Create or revise work instructions upon customer requests.
Initiate ECN for customer-requested modifications.
Order spare parts to address wear and tear of machines and equipment.
Configure artwork for labels as required.
Drive line improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.
Develop and implement temporary rework and sorting flows to address short-term issues.
Conduct headcount analysis to ensure efficient production staffing.
Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
Update BOMs according to production material usage and customer requests.
Update the FMEA to reflect any changes in design, process, or materials.
Provide technical problem-solving and root cause analysis within 8D reports for customer complaints.
Assist the production team with software setting adjustments as needed.
Prepare engineering documentation to support customer audits.
Conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) studies to ensure measurement system accuracy.
Requirements
Degree or Higher Education, preferably in a technical and engineering discipline.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the related field.
Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory, as the role requires interaction with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in interpreting engineering details, drawings, design principles, and technical terminology.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while delivering work in a professional manner.
Creative, innovative, and a strong team player capable of collaborating across departments and leading assigned tasks.
Proficient in IT tools such as Microsoft Office, ERP, MES systems, CAD, and SolidWorks.
