SOURCING SENIOR EXECUTIVE

 
Job Responsibilities
 
  1. Lead the strategic sourcing process to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet quality, cost, and reliability requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers, including evaluations of their capabilities, financial stability, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Develop and negotiate alternative vendors to secure competitive pricing, service, and quality.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while assessing and mitigating risks associated with supplier relationships and procurement activities.
  5. Draft and finalize contracts/agreements for the purchase of goods and services in collaboration with legal advisors.
  6. Maintain and integrate all procurement records within the ERP system in a timely manner.
  7. Provide project cost performance analysis for project/program teams through effective and compliant cost attribution.
  8. Review and validate the selling price for all customer orders in accordance with pricing guidelines.
  9. Monitor, review, and maintain standard costs of manufacturing components and finished goods in the system.
  10. Analyze variances between standard and actual production costs, including raw materials, labor, and utilities.
  11. Regularly monitor the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routings in the system.
  12. Review and update pricing guidelines with updated conversion costs on a regular (monthly) basis.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review production overhead and analyze variances to ensure accuracy in product costing.
  14. Prepare costed BOM, margin analysis by products/models/customers for management review.
  15. Support project tasks related to Business Development (BD) bidding and RFQ execution.
  16. Ensure quality system procedures and departmental job descriptions are regularly reviewed and updated.
  17. Conduct production audits to assess the profitability of each process.
  18. Manage and control costs by comparing actual costs with estimated costs.
  19. Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and take corrective actions where necessary.
  20. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the superior or management.
  21. Provide ad-hoc cost and sourcing reports as required.
 
 
Requirements
 
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or costing roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred, the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  4. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  5. Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  6. Solid understanding of cost structures, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  9. High attention to detail and accuracy in cost analysis and reporting.
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  11. Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance standards.
