QA ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
Develop comprehensive inspection and test plans and strategies to validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.
Prioritize test cases based on risk analysis, business impact, and customer requirements.
Execute test cases manually and/or through automated testing tools.
Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution.
Perform root cause analysis to understand the underlying causes of defects and prevent recurrence.
Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards in alignment with industry best practices.
Implement quality metrics and measurements to monitor product quality and performance.
Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Document test cases, test results, and quality assurance procedures.
Generate test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress to stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address issues and provide status updates.
Collaborate with production managers, engineering managers, NPI team, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
Participate in meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Provide input and feedback on product design, requirements, and acceptance criteria from a quality perspective.
Provide guidance and support to team members on quality assurance practices and methodologies.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of quality within the organization.
Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in their professional development.
Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and learning.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Higher Education with experience / bachelor’s degree (preferably in a Technical or Engineering discipline).
2+ years of proven track record from working with any manufacturing industry.
Fresh graduate from any engineering discipline are also encouraged to apply.
Good understanding of Quality Tools, Six Sigma, ISO Standard, Inspection methodology using various measuring equipment.
